As Americans, we have much to be thankful for with regards to our high standard of living and the comforts afforded by common material possessions. In this modern day, many of our valuable belongings include various technological devices. Whether at work or leisure, we utilize the advantages afforded us by technology advancing at an exponential rate. While many people in our society can afford such prized items, there are always those who cannot. As college students, we understand how having access to technology can significantly benefit a person's life. Unfortunately, financial limitations prevent some from gaining what many of us enjoy in surplus.

The iHope program gives iPods to chronically and/or terminally ill patients in order to provide emotional comfort and support for their well-being. Diverse uses of technology are often thought of within a utilitarian and/or entertainment framework. The iHope program aspires to augment such narrow applications and use technological devices for humanitarian purposes. An iPod is a tiny thing and often seems trivial in the world of evolving computer ingenuity, yet when thoughtfully given can create immense change. Since we are a non-profit program, we rely on your generous donations and any support is greatly appreciated!
