Executive Board Application
Fill out this application if you are interested in joining our paid executive board–the team that oversees the operation of WTHS, from the music to the news. Positions on Executive Board:
- Program Director
Oversees all programming that is broadcast. In charge of and responsible for scheduling shows, hiring DJs and any responsibilities associated with DJ supervision. - Business and Underwriting Director
Responsible for approving all business transactions, keeping accurate records, and serve as a liaison with the business office of the college. Responsible for the soliciting and the contracting of all underwriting (local business sponsorship/advertising). Must be able to work independently and form relationships with local community businesses. - Music Director
Responsible for the systematic filing of records and other music materials. Acts as a liaison between WTHS and record companies and distributors. Responsible for all recorded music materials for On-Air broadcasts, and incoming music to the station. - Production Director
Responsible for the the production of any recorded programming not under the jurisdiction of the Music Directors, and is in charge of the production facilities. Including production of all promos and spots. Basic experience with Adobe Audition or related audio editing program is a plus. - Web Director
Responsible for maintaining station web site with current relevant information that accurately reflects the goals and events of WTHS. Must be proficient in Adobe Dreamweaver and have knowledge of CSS and HTML. - Promotions Director
Responsible for all promotion and publicity of the station, maintaining campus events, and creatively promoting the station through advertising campaigns. - News Director
Manages and organizes news updates to be recorded and played through automation throughout each day during the school year.
DJ & Volunteer Application
Fill out this application if you are interested in becoming a student DJ at WTHS. This application can also be used if you are interested in volunteering at WTHS. Volunteers can help out in any way from previewing music to recording promos.
